Sinem was born in Ankara, Turkey and studied English Linguistics before taking up photography, and working as a film director.

Her short film "Sundown/Günbatımı" (2015) was among the Official Selection in many festivals around the world, and the third place winner in the Sunset Film Festival, Los Angeles.

She directed many TV Commercials that are very well-known and appreciated
